How often should I replace the R-octenol tablet in my mosquito trap?

R-octenol tablets should be replaced every 3 to 5 weeks depending on the trap's usage and the surrounding temperature. In warmer climates, the tablet may lose its effectiveness more quickly, so it's good to monitor if the trap is still attracting mosquitoes effectively.

Where should a mosquito trap be placed for best results?

For best results, the mosquito trap should be placed in an area where mosquitoes are active, such as near stagnant water, gardens, or other outdoor areas where mosquitoes gather. The trap should be placed in a location with good airflow, but not directly in strong sunlight, as this can affect its effectiveness.

How early in the season should I start my mosquito trap?

It’s good to start using your mosquito trap early in the spring, when mosquitoes begin to become active and seek places to lay their eggs. Starting when the temperature reaches around 10°C or higher will give the best results throughout the mosquito season.

With which mosquito traps can I use R-octenol?
