We always send an order confirmation to the specified email address, this is automatic. However, sometimes it happens that the email address has been misspelled, we have no system to detect this. Sometimes this order confirmation also ends up in spam, as it is an automatically generated email, so please take a look there first and foremost. If you miss it, contact us via the contact form with the name (Before and after) of the person the order is made for.

How often should I replace the R-octenol tablet in my mosquito repellent?

R-octenol tablets should be replaced every 3 to 5 weeks depending on trap usage and ambient temperature. In warmer climates, the tablet may lose its effectiveness more quickly, so it is a good idea to keep an eye on whether the trap is still attracting mosquitoes effectively.

Where should a mosquito catcher be placed for best results?

For best results, place the trap in an area where mosquitoes are active, such as near standing water, gardens, or other outdoor areas where mosquitoes congregate. The trap should be placed in a location with good airflow, but not directly in bright sunlight, as this can affect its effectiveness.

How early in the season should I start my mosquito trap?

It is a good idea to start using your mosquito repellent in early spring, when mosquitoes are starting to become active and looking for places to lay their eggs. Starting when temperatures reach around 10°C or higher will give the best results throughout the mosquito season.
